Who’s There?

When you call the Geek Squad, you may be speaking with a a technician in Tampa, or Pittsburgh, or New Delhi.

When you call your cable company and they visit your home, you may be getting someone with a degree in Technology who is willing to accept minimum wage in order to get benefits.  Or somebody who knows cable but maybe not English.

When you take your car to Sears, you have the security of a big corporate name, but no knowledge of the background of the mechanic.

Maybe dealing with an individual can have benefits over dealing with a corporation!

This Old Guy started his career as an auto mechanic, became a millwright/rigger/welder, then a motorcycle parts department manager.  One recession forced a career change, but that was lucky.  Five years as a Mainframe computer operator at a major insurance company led to over a decade supporting computers, networks, hardware, software, telephone systems, audio/visual equipment and more, all in various educational environments (read “underfunded”).

David knows how to find out what he needs to do to fix a problem within a tight budget, and his natural mechanical aptitude helps him get the job done.

Now here in Fort Pierce, he wants to help local neighbors get the support they need with technology of all kinds.
